Founder and Director

Nilesh Choudhary is a visionary entrepreneur with nearly two decades of global experience across investment banking, corporate finance, and fund management, with a strong focus on the Indian markets. A Chartered Accountant and MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), he brings deep expertise in international finance, regulatory compliance, and cross-border asset management.

Prior to founding Aikyam Capital Group, Nilesh led International Business Operations (Asia and Africa) at Edelweiss, where he played a pivotal role in building and scaling overseas enterprise functions. He was instrumental in strengthening governance frameworks and enabling the Group to secure comprehensive Capital Markets Services Licenses in Singapore, positioning it among the few Indian financial conglomerates to achieve this distinction.

At Aikyam Capital Group, he guides global investors through India’s regulated financial landscape, delivering bespoke, compliant solutions anchored in transparency, trust, and long-term partnership.

A Chartered Accountant holding a PGDBM in Finance from NMIMS, Mumbai, he has been at the forefront of alternative investments since 2006, beginning with his foundational role at Milestone Capital.

Nilesh’s professional trajectory is marked by a transformative decade at Edelweiss Financial Services. During this tenure, he played a pivotal role in pioneering their Alternative Investments division in Singapore and spearheaded the firm’s strategic expansion across South-East Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Today, under his visionary leadership, Aikyam Capital is dedicated to redefining value creation within the Indian stressed asset market. At Aikyam, he leads the identification and turnaround of companies within the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), focusing on businesses with strong fundamentals facing temporary financial stress. Seasoned Chartered Accountant and business leader with over 20 years of experience across finance, commercial, taxation, HR, legal and regulatory framework. With deep expertise in stressed assets management, complex strategies and transactions, and business turnarounds, along with a proven track record of building and leading large commercial platforms, managing distressed assets, navigating regulatory complexity, and driving sustainable value creation.
Brings a rare combination of strategic foresight and hands‑on execution, with extensive experience in IBC, structured finance, fund management, SAP, regulatory compliance, and enterprise – scale commercial operations. Currently focused and leading initiatives on building scalable asset recovery and special situations platforms.
